Celebration of Sport 2017
I had the pleasure of attending the 2017 Newlands College Celebration of Sport last week, and I was delighted to see so many Year 9 students being recognised for their achievements in sport this year. In fact, with well over fifty Year 9 students receiving awards, our year level was punching well above our weight! Co-curricular activities are an important part of the secondary school experience, and it's fantastic to know that so many students in Year 9 are getting involved. Well done to all the recipients of awards, and well done to all Year 9s involved in sport this year!
